The electoral observation missions of the Organization of American States and the European Union concluded that the election results declared by the National Electoral Council in December 2025 reflected the will of the people, and they called on the authorities to respect electoral institutions. HRF joins them in urging a peaceful and orderly transition of power and respect for the democratic process in Honduras.
