Mariana is the creative director at the Human Rights Foundation (HRF). She joined HRF in 2018 and has since defined the creative vision for the organization’s brand, programs, campaigns, and events, including the Oslo Freedom Forum. She has also led the award-winning campaign, Uncomfortable Truth, focused on helping shoppers keep Uyghur forced labor out of their shopping carts. She holds a graphic design degree from Parsons, a degree in communications and journalism from the Universidad Catolica Andrés Bello in Venezuela, and a master’s in public management from IESA, also in Venezuela. Before joining HRF, Mariana was committed to public service, developing public policies in underprivileged areas of her hometown of Caracas.
