Mariana joined HRF in 2018 after completing her degree in graphic design from Parsons School of Design. Before moving to New York, Mariana studied Communications, and graduated with her M.A. in Public Management. She worked for seven years for the government of Sucre (Caracas, Venezuela) as Chief of Community Outreach, Deputy Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Citizen Safety.
Mariana has worked on 11 electoral campaigns in Venezuela in marketing and voter mobilization. She is also co-founder of Embajadores Comunitarios, an NGO that implements Youth Empowerment Programs for underprivileged teenagers, and is part of the Advisory Board of NGO Becando Futuro.
