Wear Your Values at New York Fashion Week
This year for NYFW, HRF partnered with Athleta and took over its flagship store on 5th Ave for a full day of sustainable fashion.
On September 7, the Human Rights Foundation gathered designers, activists, technologists, and brand founders who all work to make fashion a force for good. Industry experts participated in a series of panel discussions promoting human rights in the supply chain and exploring the power of fashion as a tool for activism and advocacy. Visitors had the opportunity to shop consciously at a pop-up featuring sustainable designers including Article 22, Art of Hope, Indigo Handloom, DEAR LEADER, and Fashion for Freedom.
Wear Your Values was the first in a series of events we are hosting in the lead up to the Oslo Freedom Forum in New York on September 17th. The Oslo Freedom Forum is an annual conference hosted by the Human Rights Foundation that brings together leaders in advocacy, academia, business, media, philanthropy, policy, and technology to discuss how to make the world more peaceful, prosperous, and free.
