Georgia UPR NGO Submission

This submission was prepared by HRF for the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Georgia. In this submission, HRF evaluates Georgia’s implementation of recommendations made during its previous UPR, as it relates to the rapidly declining human rights situation in the country, characterized by systematic, widespread, and gross violations of human rights, including: the freedoms of assembly, association and expression; arbitrary arrests, detentions, and violations of due process of the law; and torture and ill treatment.
