The Impact of the War on Ukrainian Children

Join the Human Rights Foundation (HRF) for the live webinar, “The Impact of the War on Ukrainian Children,” on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 11:00 a.m. EST, on the devastating effects of the war in Ukraine on the country’s most vulnerable population: its children.

Now entering its fourth year, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine has displaced millions, destroyed countless lives, and targeted Ukrainian identity. Children have been one of the primary targets of the Russian regime’s war on Ukraine, with some of the most severe consequences, including their forced abduction, displacement, and erasure of their identities in occupied territories.

This YouTube live webinar will explore the growing crisis and the international and grassroots efforts to bring abducted children home, featuring Ukrainians who directly work on on rescuing children from occupied territories:

  • Daria Rabinovitsch, co-CEO of Helping to Leave, a humanitarian organization supporting evacuations from occupied regions.
  • Katya Pavlevych, advisor on abducted children at Razom for Ukraine and founder of Forget Us Not, an initiative coordinating civil society efforts to return abducted children.

Don’t miss this important conversation as we highlight the urgent need to protect Ukraine’s children and hold perpetrators to account.
