HRF joins @amnesty , ILAAD, @omctorg , and other organizations in calling on Equatorial Guinea’s ruler Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogoto to comply with the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention’s opinion and immediately release lawyer and activist Anacleto Micha Ndong Nlang from prison.

Since January 2024, Anacleto Micha Ndong Nlang has been held without trial. Plainclothes security agents violently arrested him shortly after he filed a complaint against senior officials for the kidnapping and torture he had endured during a previous detention.
