Nolwenn Mahé is an Africa Policy Advisor specializing in research, advocacy, and network-building across the continent, covering a wide range of African countries across English-, French-, Portuguese-, and Spanish-speaking regions. She also leads the Celebrities & Dictators program, which encourages public figures to stand in solidarity with people living under authoritarian regimes. Prior to joining HRF, Mahé worked with human rights NGOs focused on Equatorial Guinea, organized climate action initiatives with African non-state actors, and contributed to French foreign cultural cooperation at the Institut Français in Paris. She holds a master’s degree in international governance and diplomacy from the Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po).
