About

On the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, Roskilde Festival Group and the Human Rights Foundation will co-host a special panel discussion, “Art as a Catalyst for Change."

The panel will explore how music festivals can serve as platforms for democratic dialogue and engagement with pressing global agendas. Pema Doma (executive director of Students for a Free Tibet), Mai Khoi (Vietnamese singer-songwriter and activist), and Nikola Ilić (leadership development and citizen engagement professional) will examine the broader ecosystem of music festivals as vehicles for political engagement and social transformation. Emma Vos, partnerships manager at UN Live, will moderate the discussion.
