The Human Rights Foundation (HRF) is thrilled to bring the College Freedom Forum (CFF) to Rowan University on October 6, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST.
This fall’s program — College Freedom Forum: Voices of Dissent — will explore pressing human rights issues shaping today’s global struggle for freedom, including threats to press freedom, arbitrary detention, the erosion of the rule of law, and women’s rights worldwide.
Hosted in collaboration with Rowan University’s Ric Edelman College of Communication, Humanities, & Social Sciences, the event will provide students with tools and insights to help advance human rights in their communities and beyond.
CFF is a global series of on-campus events connecting students with world-renowned human rights defenders working to expose injustice and challenge authoritarian regimes. These forums offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity to engage directly with activists and experts through powerful talks, panel discussions, and thought-provoking Q&As.
This year alone, CFF has collaborated with Tufts University, Francisco Marroquín University, and The George Washington University to allow students to build connections with human rights defenders and fellow advocates and explore strategies to challenge authoritarianism and promote freedom.
