Michelle Gulino is the director of legal and programs at the Human Rights Foundation, where she oversees and manages the organizationтАЩs portfolio of programs. Gulino previously worked on sustainable development and advocacy issues pertaining to international womenтАЩs human rights across Sub-Saharan Africa and provided direct relief services for trafficking survivors. She holds a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master of Letters in international security studies from the University of St Andrews, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a double Bachelor of Arts in political science and romance languages and literature from Johns Hopkins University. GulinoтАЩs opinions have been featured in international media outlets, including The Washington Post, BBC, The Independent, and CNN. She has served as a guest speaker on matters ranging from humanitarian crises in Africa to the KremlinтАЩs political prisoners.
