This legal research paper is divided into two parts. Part One analyzes whether President Zelaya’s premature termination was in accordance with Honduran Law. The general conclusion of this part is that both his expatriation to Costa Rica by the armed forces, as well as the removal from office by Congress that ensued, were unconstitutional.
