Céline Assaf Boustani

President

Céline Boustani is the President at the Human Rights Foundation where she leads the organization’s programs and campaigns. She joined HRF’s Center for Law and Democracy in 2014 where she focused her legal and advocacy work on the protection of freedom of expression in Arabic and French-speaking countries around the world. She holds a master’s in international law from Columbia Law School and a master’s in French Law from Pantheon-Assas Paris II, France. Céline has spoken at numerous conferences and events, including the Oslo Freedom Forum, SXSW, RightsCon, and her writing and views have appeared in international media outlets including The Washington Post, The New York Times, Newsweek and l’Express.
