Nasser Weddady

Nasser Weddady is a strategic advisor for the Human Rights Foundation. Weddady is an expert on the Arab World, Muslim affairs, and Africa and has significant experience in strategic planning, public diplomacy, advocacy, and networking. He was identified by Atlantic Magazine as one of the top five influencers during the 2011 Arab uprisings; in 2013, he was voted “Best Person To Follow – Arabic” in Deutsch Welle’s Best of Blogs Awards; and in 2015, he was deemed “100 Most Powerful Arabs Under 40” by Arabian Business Magazine.

Weddady is co-author of “Arab Spring Dreams: The Next Generation Speaks Out for Freedom and Justice from North Africa to Iran.” He has been published in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, and Daily Beast and has appeared on various International media outlets such as BBC, CNN, France24, MSNBC, and Fox News.
