Elle Ota is a program officer at the Human Rights Foundation (HRF), where she coordinates activities across HRF’s diverse array of programs. In her current role, Elle works to ensure HRF’s programs achieve their intended outcomes, advance HRF’s advocacy and public education initiatives, and produce events like the Oslo Freedom Forum. Before joining HRF, she worked at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in San Diego. Elle received a Master of Arts in anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts with honors in archaeology and classics from Stanford University.
