Sergei Korotkov is an international legal associate specializing in public international law, with a focus on submissions to international courts and quasi-judicial mechanisms. He earned his LL.B. from Ural State Law University, a Master of Laws (with honors) from HSE University, and an LL.M. (with honors) from Case Western Reserve University. He also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Human Rights Practice from the University of Arizona.
Prior to joining HRF, Korotkov served as a consultant with the United Nations Development Programme and worked with the International Trade Centre (UNCTAD/WTO), the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. He has served as an expert on legal and policy matters and published academic articles and op-eds in prominent outlets, including The Hill.
