Eleven-year-old Katia and her mother Natalia lived for six months under Russian occupation in their hometown in 2022 before eventually relocating to Kyiv.

Now, Katia continues to pursue the game she loves. She plays football amid frequent power outages caused by Russian bombing, showing remarkable resilience in the face of war.
