Claudia Bennett is a Legal & Program Officer at HRF, where she works on legal petitions to the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention and Universal Periodic Reviews under HRF’s Impact Litigation Program, as well as assists with our other programs. Prior to joining HRF, Claudia worked at NGOs focused on the intersection of international human rights law, international humanitarian law, and national security law and provided direct support and relief to refugees and asylum seekers in Greece. Claudia holds a J.D. with a concentration in international law from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. in Human Rights and Art History from Bard College. She is admitted to practice law in New York.
